Currently open 8:30am to 4:30pm - Internet and phone bookings only Brisbane Gateway Resort will remain open for essential and emergency stays only during these times. We are currently operating contactless services including contactless reservations, payments, as well as contactless check-in and check-out processes. Our cabins are individual, well separated buildings with independent air-conditioning, balconies, parking and include facilities such as bathroom, kitchen and laundry. Contactless linen service is also available where needed. We are all in this together and would like to assure all guests that Brisbane Gateway Resort is taking advice from Queensland Health and the Australian Government Department of Health regarding COVID-19 and taking steps necessary to reduce risks, protect people and continue to serve our community where we can. Current Arrivals - Essential stays only All bookings and stays are subject to approval and confirmation. Please, you must tell us before making a booking or prior to checking in if you are already confirmed as having COVID-19 (coronavirus) or if you are feeling unwell or exhibiting current symptoms of coronavirus, especially a fever or shortness of breath, a cough or a respiratory illness. We may ask you to answer other relevant questions about your situation before, during or following your stay. New Bookings Arriving 25 Mar to 31 May 2020 - Essential Bookings only. For stays before 1 June we are currently only accepting cabin and site bookings for essential stays only. This includes stays for essential workers, for people to reside, for medical & support reasons, for approved self-isolation guests or for interim stays where a person’s primary residence is not directly available (e.g. overseas or interstate residents, persons who need emergency accommodation). Unfortunately, bookings for holiday stays are not currently being accepted during this time due to government restrictions. Please advise us of your situation as you will be required to confirm the reason for your stay prior to being allowed to check-in during this time. Safety and Hygiene We are taking the safety and well-being of our guests, team members and all who visit our resort very seriously. Our dedicated team is cleaning to the highest standards, taking hygiene very seriously and we have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures and all necessary recommendations from Queensland Health and the Australian Government Department of Health. Social Distancing requirements are being strongly encouraged by the resort during this time such as persons keeping 1.5 metres away from others as much as possible, avoiding close direct contact and avoiding gatherings that aren’t essential. Recreation Facilities We advise some facilities such as pool, playground and BBQs are closed for use during this time in line with government advice and restrictions. Self-isolation information: Anyone arriving in Queensland from overseas or interstate, including Australians citizens and permanent residents, are required to quarantine or self-isolate for 14 days from the date of arrival. You must let resort staff know before making a booking or prior to checking in if this applies or has applied to you. Self-isolation in a self-contained cabin may be possible however you will be asked to self-service including for linen changes with fresh linen being delivered to your door. Self-isolation in a motorhome or caravan will not be permitted unless your motorhome or caravan is fully self-contained, and you do not need to use any communal facilities such as the amenities and laundry. Warning If you provide any false or misleading information to us, or we if decide there is an excessive risk to you, our staff, anyone else staying at the resort or the community generally because of your non-compliance with government restrictions, social-distancing or self-isolation requirements or procedures, we may cancel your stay at any time, including after you have checked in. There are substantial fines and other penalties that apply for non-compliance with any self-quarantine requirements of Queensland Health and other authorities.
